To my knowledge there are so many factors which contribute to having hair extensions. During my numerous consultations with clients from all walks of life, my first question is why do you want to put in extensions. The answer I get varies from client to client. Some common answers are:

• New Boyfriend
• Hormones
• Acting part in Movies

Make sure who ever applies the extension has some experience because do understand they will be removed eventually. If not well applied during removal, there will be serious damage or breakage to your natural hair.

From my professional experience, hair extensions when applied strand by strand cause more damage to African-American Natural Hair than any other race.
